Healthy eating can be fun for children. Incorporating foods rich in color, providing creative presentations and choices as well as being a role model are just a few ways to encourage healthy eating. Some of the benefits of healthy eating for young children include optimal brain development and physical growth. Early adoption of healthy eating habits also sets the stage for future healthy habits as children grow into adults. Here are some resources to help you start building healthy habits as a family:
